Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Wedding Clarity Session therapy?
No. The session offers strategic and emotional wedding-planning support, but it is not psychotherapy, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, or crisis support. Natalie holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and is not a licensed psychotherapist.
Is this the same as hiring a wedding planner?
No. A wedding planner manages logistics, vendors, timelines, and event execution. The Wedding Clarity Session focuses on helping you work through a specific decision, clarify your priorities, and identify your next steps. It does not include vendor booking, vendor management, or full-service planning.
What kinds of decisions can we discuss?
The session can support decisions related to your wedding vision, venues or vendors, priorities and budget tradeoffs, guest lists, and family expectations. You should arrive with one focused concern or a closely connected set of decisions.
Who attends the session?
The Wedding Clarity Session is a private, bride-only session. It is intentionally designed to give you space to hear your own priorities without managing another person’s reactions or preferences in the room.
Can my partner, parent, or another person join?
No. The current Wedding Clarity Session is designed specifically as one-to-one support for the bride. It is not a couples session or a formal mediation service.
Where is the session available?
Sessions are available virtually to brides located anywhere in the United States.
How will we meet?
You may choose your preferred available virtual format when booking your approved session.
How should I prepare?
Your inquiry will ask about your wedding date and planning stage, the decision creating stress, what you hope to resolve, and whether you are facing an urgent deadline. Before the session, gather any options or relevant information you would like to compare. You do not need to prepare a formal presentation.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
Natalie personally reviews each inquiry and responds within two business days. If the session is a fit for your needs, you will receive a link to submit payment and select an appointment.
Does submitting an inquiry guarantee a session?
No. The Wedding Doula offers intentionally limited boutique support. Each inquiry is reviewed to confirm that the concern is focused and appropriate for a Wedding Clarity Session.
How much does the session cost?
The Wedding Clarity Session is $175. Payment is collected after your inquiry is approved and before the session is booked.
What will I receive afterward?
Within 24 hours, you will receive a concise email recap and personalized roadmap with your direction, priorities, and next steps. Relevant decision criteria or communication guidance may also be included when useful.
Is any follow-up included?
Yes. Your session includes a brief follow-up check-in after the written roadmap is delivered. Any additional support is discussed individually and is not included in the $175 session fee.
What if I need ongoing support?
The Wedding Clarity Session is currently the sole offering. If a different or additional level of support may be appropriate, it can be discussed individually after your session. No additional service is guaranteed, and availability remains intentionally limited.
What is the rescheduling policy?
One reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a refund. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are nonrefundable.
When is this session not the right fit?
The session is not appropriate if you want someone to plan the wedding for you, need extensive vendor research, require ongoing therapy or crisis support, need two people to mediate a dispute, or are looking primarily for an open-ended space to vent without a focused concern or desired outcome.
